In the painstaking effort to make a decision on choosing one of our delectable desserts (unless of course you belong to our “Date Square Addiction Club”), one finds themself confused and agitated in realizing they must indeed make the choice. Whether you feel like indulging in something sweet, not too sweet , buttery, chocolaty, sugar free- dairy free- wheat free all-in-one....we have a selection for you.

From our caterers “Bistro in a Box”, sisters Debra and Mary Ellen Waugh deliver their all organic freshly baked old fashioned layer cakes, lemon-cranberry and butter tart squares, apple pie extraordinaire, rich&thick cheese cakes, cinnamon raisin swirled scones, morning glory muffins and the date squares from which the Date Square Addiction Club was formed!

From our raw foods caterer “Nude Food”, Renee Trepanier combines fruits, nuts grains, natural sweetenings , pure chocolate, carob, macau ,spices and other wholesome ingredients to create desserts from another world. You won’t believe they are 100% dairy free, sugar free and wheat free.

From our own kitchen, Taloola Cafe staff weigh each and every peanut butter or chocolate cookie to make sure no one else has a bigger edge on cookie goodness than they do. Our vegan friendly cookies are made with ingredients such as whole wheat flour, Lactantia margarine(no artificial flavours),pure organic peanut butter, pure semisweet chocolate chips and of course with love and tender care. You will most always find our treasured chocolate garbanzo cake, intended for the gluten intolerant but enjoyed by all. This recipe, borrowed from a good friend made an instant hit and will always be part of our dessert repertoire.

Our old fashioned fruit crisps and winter time bread pudding are never sitting around long as their trusty fans never tire of their scrumpdilyiscious and nostalgic good taste.
